The cars a 2.2 variant and has 105000 miles on the clock give or take. I had it serviced when the ccv was replaced. The oil I'm using is fully synthetic 5/30 bmw oil from Halfrauds. I'm currently doing a lot of motorway miles. 180 miles from Mancester to Newbury then a few days 7 miles from hotel to the office then 180 miles back up north.
What engine is in 2004 BMW Z4 Roadster (E85) 2.5i? The 2004 BMW Z4 Roadster (E85) 2.5i has a Inline 6, Petrol engine with 2494 cm3 / 152.2 cu-in capacity.
With a S54, you can't get all the oil out using the drain plug since about 1 liter remains in the sump (a truly empty S54, after the pan comes off, takes 6.5 liters, while an ordinary oil change takes about 5.5 liters). For the S54 engines, you need to have the oil at operating temperature before doing an oil change.

It will show a scrolling bar while it checks the oil level. When it is done it will show the results and an "OK" if it is at an acceptable level.
Front/Rear Pads: $100 per axle. Front/Rear Rotors: $120-$200 per axle. Brake Fluid Flush: $50-$75. Don't replace the Sensors unless they tripped. They are a one time sensor so If one on the Right Rear or Left Front (The only 2 on the car) did, you need to replace only that individual sensor which runs anywhere from $14-$23.00.
The reason I ask is , when I drove the car away, I immediately notice a change in the shift speed of the transmission! (It use to shift fast and hard) I mean by shift fast, the time it took for the trans to move from 1st to 2nd.) a split second.
It is right on the container. So here are some details. My car is a 2003 2.5 manual transmission Z4. It currently has 118,000 miles and I do not have service records stating that the fluid in the diff or trans have ever been changed so I must assume they are original. Shipkiller seemed to state it was unwise to change trans fluid after 100,000
Looked around and saw that a tiny bit of oil seems to be leaking around the front where the half moon is and on the rear left side . My car is a 2.0 4 cylinder . I have had a price for the kit from BMW for around £101.00 and about £190 to fit £290 . Formula one day that if I can get the kit they would probably charge around £50 labour .

Z4 water pump replacement (e85, m54) OK..here is how you really change the water pump on a Z4.(E85, m54 motor, mine is a 2.5) I have done this procedure, and all you will need are one water pump with o-ring, two m6x25mm bolts, a gallon of anti-freeze, simple hand tools, a few blocks of wood, a rolling floor jack, and jack stands.
